CAFES Raffle Raises Funds for the Agri-Center's Antique Museum
Daniel Bratton of Tulare, found out at the California Antique Farm Equipment Show that it only takes one ticket to win. Bratton was the lucky winner of the John Deere 42 In., 19.5 HP, Hydrostatic Lawn Tractor sponsored in part by Lawrence Tractor Company.
Bratton has attended the Antique Farm Equipment Show on Saturday with his dad. “My dad and I really enjoy looking at all the antique farm equipment,” Bratton said. “I purchased just one ticket as a donation to the museum. I’m really glad I did now."
All told the Agri-Center volunteers sold nearly 2,500 tickets generating valuable funds for the continued operation of the Antique Museum.
The raffle winner was chosen during the annual Steak BBQ Dinner on Saturday night. Guests entered to win for $1 at World Ag Expo, the Antique Show and various other community events. Proceeds of the raffle benefit the Agri-Center's Antique Farm Equipment Museum.
Other winners at the Antique Show included Stanly Lopes, of Fresno, Calif., who won a Coca-Cola peddle car and Cheryl Westra, of Murrieta, Calif., who won a John Deere pedal tractor donated by Lawrence Tractor.
The 2011 California Antique Farm Equipment Show is scheduled for April 15-17, 2011. Featuring Holt, Best and Cat it is promising to be another terrific show.
